I have stayed here many time and will continue to do so: great location and lovely friendly neighbourhood with great eating places love the heritage feel / old decor of the hotel property great value for money in an overpriced city for hotels staff have been very good about some of my trips when have been on a 12-hour layover in Singapore; arrived 8am and checked-in straight away into room , no waiting until 2pm, so really appreciated on a tight timeframe Staff have generally given me an automatic upgrade to a higher category when arrived SOME reception staff ... not all... are very pleasant and helpful,,, (but some have been a bit grumpy !); housekeeping super quick on room requests
